Super Bowl Party

The name Super Bowl came from Lamar Hunt, architect of the AFL and owner of the Kansas City Chiefs. He found a ball in his daughter's room called a Super Ball and it inspired him to name the championship game between the American Football league and National Football league the "Super Bowl." The first Super Bowl was played on January 14, 1968 between Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers and Hank Strass's Chief's.

The Super Bowl has come to be known as United States biggest "Party". It is a time for football fans and even non-football fans to get together for the big game. The Television commercials during the Super Bowl are some of the greatest ever made and is one of the things that viewers look forward to during the big game.
