Pin the sail on the boat:

This is a spin off on the traditional “pin the tail on the donkey” to give it a more nautical feel. First get a large picture of a boat without a sail. You can download one off the internet. Just make sure it is of good resolution because you would want to print it out on a large sheet of paper. Now stick this picture on a large piece of cardboard. Then stick a picture of proportionately sized sailed on another piece of cardboard and cut it out. Stick a nail or pin into it. At the party give your guests turns at being blindfolded and trying to pin the sail onto the big picture of the boat at the right position.

Shaky boat deck relay:

Divide the guests in your nautical theme party into teams of two. Clear out a large area of the floor and call it a deck. You can even hold this outdoor in your back yard. Then have each member of the team stationed at either end of the “deck” in turns. Hand one member of each team a tray with 6 glasses of water in them. When the time starts that team member needs to speed across the court with the tray to his partner. He then transfers it to he who brings it back to the other side within the stipulated time. If they make it back in time the amount of water remaining in the glasses is measured. The team who spills the least amount of water wins.
