Fathers Day Party

Father's Day is a secular holiday inaugurated in the early twentieth century to complement Mother's Day in celebrating fatherhood and parenting by males. Father's Day grew from one woman's tribute to her father to the observance it is today. Father's day is a day to celebrate Dad. It is a day to not only honor your father but all men who have acted as a father figure in your life - whether as stepfathers, uncles, grandfathers, or big brothers. Because it falls in June, it is often celebrated with a barbeque. Some families take their father out for brunch or dinner but the festivities always include presents, cards and a party atmosphere to celebrate Dad's Big Day!
